School-based Private Duty Nurse (RN)

We have an opportunity for you in the Olathe Public School system for a Private Duty nurse. The schedule mirrors a typical school schedule, 8:00-4:00, Monday-Thursday, 32 hours/week. Pay is $45-$47/hr, full benefits included from day one.
American Medical Staffing is hiring School Nurses for Private Duty positions in Olathe, KS to work with school-aged children with special medical needs. There are currently two male students in need, both Early Childhood.
The Private Duty School Nurse will meet the student at their home and ride the school bus with the student to school. The School Nurse provides care during transport and also during the school day.
Medical needs of the students vary, but most of the students have gtubes, medication administration needs, some also have seizure precautions, tracheotomies or diabetes. Private Duty School Nurses must be comfortable caring for any of these medical needs.

* Schedule: 5 days per week – Full Time
* Hours: Monday-Friday, approximately 8 AM - 4 PM
* Compensation: $45-$47/hour
* Start Date: Now through June 2023
School Nurse requirements:
* KS RN license
* Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience in any setting
