Job Description

As an American Medical Staffing (AMS)  Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist, you are responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring the Talent Acquisition Team. Additionally responsible for developing/ screening a pipeline of healthcare professionals (HCPs). You will establish and build AMS’s reputation and brand through the market while recruiting and supporting HCPs using the company Core Values of Customer Service, Respect, Ethical Behavior, Accountability, Teamwork and Excellence. Achieve individual performance goals by operating the AMS Way and exceeding minimum activity standards.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Talents

  • 2+ years of experience in staffing within the healthcare industry
  • 2+ years of experience in a metrics-driven environment
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and to react to shifting priorities to satisfy business needs
  • Maintain an active candidate pipeline
  • Process, policy, and detail oriented; strong organizational skills are a must
  • Provide proactive hiring solutions to deliver a competitive advantage in talent acquisition
  • Support the development and execution of the Talent Acquisition strategy to attract and select the best talent.
  • Technology savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication (oral and written), and listening skills


General Duties and Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Specialist

  • Proactively contact and recruit prospective candidates to establish relationships, understand their needs and qualify them for job opportunities
  • Strong motivation to achieve results and meet recruiting metrics
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency
  • Consistently execute strong screening and pre qualify of candidates
  • Educate prospective candidates on the personal and professional benefits of a healthcare career with American Medical Staffing
  • Generate leads through various recruiting channels, strategic planning and referrals
  • Working computer knowledge such as Office 365 and social media platforms.
